As a Life Passion Coach, I get asked a lot of the same questions by people trying to better understand how I could assist them.
Here are some of questions I frequently get asked. Please keep in mind that while these are general guidelines, our approach will be personalised to your unique circumstances and preferences.

Solopreneurship

What is a solopreneur? and How does a solopreneur differ from an entrepreneur?

Simply put, a solopreneur is a person who sets up a business, of which they are the sole employee. Solopreneurs do everything in their business whilst entrepreneurs manage and delegate.

A solopreneur is both the owner and the workforce of their business. They are responsible for organizing, managing, and assuming the risks of their enterprise, without the help of a partner. Solopreneurs are both founders and employees. That’s not to say that they can’t—or won’t—work and collaborate with others, but they won’t hire anyone full-time.

Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, might have founded their company on their own, but will typically be seeking to grow, manage, and delegate responsibilities to other people over time. One route isn’t better than the other, they are simply two different approaches to business.

One of the first steps we'll take together is to thoroughly assess your current situation. Through this evaluation, we can determine how much support you'll need for a transition to Semi-Retired Solopreneur, factoring in your desired lifestyle, tavel and potential issues. One of my favourite quotes is “Success requires support, but failure we can do alone.” And big change requires big support. We'll look at four key areas; Mindset shift; Discover and nurture your passion; Transition strategies and action plans; and finally you'll get some practical guidance to find balance in your new semi-retired lifestyle.

We'll craft a strategy that allows you to maintain financial stability while gradually moving towards your semi-retired dream. What changes in my current lifestyle and habits should I consider to align with my solopreneur goals?

We'll conduct a thorough review of your current habits and lifestyle. Together, we can identify areas where adjustments can be made to align with your Semi-Retired Solopreneur goals. We can look for ways to make your habits and hobbies more mobile. You have the power to break free from the rat race, to rediscover your passions, and to lead a life filled with purpose. What plans can I make to stay connected to my community and not loose touch with family and friends as I transition into this exciting new phase of my life?

Through personalised coaching sessions, I can guide you through this major life transition, helping you to identify your priorities, values, and goals for the future. Together, we’ll explore the opportunities that freelancing or starting your own business presents, and develop a comprehensive plan to help you navigate this exciting new chapter of your life. You will need to make a specific plan around keeping in touch with family and friends as you live your nomadic life. Remember that my role as a life coach is to support you holistically in your solopreneur journey.

Emotional Support

How do you provide emotional support and motivation to help me stay positive and hopeful during this challenging period of my life?

I'll provide emotional support by being a trusted confidant and offering guidance and encouragement throughout the transition planning process. The process won't always be easy, but it will be rewarding. We'll work together to set achievable milestones and celebrate your progress, helping you stay positive and hopeful even during challenging times. You don't have to go through this journey alone. I'm here to listen, to understand, and to help you create a life that aligns with your true self.

Monitoring Progress

How will you track my progress and make adjustments to the plan if needed?

I'll track your progress through regular check-ins and assessments. If needed, we can make adjustments to your transition plan based on changing circumstances, such as shifts in your income, expenses, or employment situation. Flexibility and adaptability are key to ensuring your plan remains effective. It's important to remember that you are in control of your own destiny and that you can always make changes to your plan if needed.

What is affiliate marketing and how does it work?

Affiliate marketing is the process by which a person (an affiliate) earns a commission for marketing another person's or company's products. The affiliate simply searches for a product they enjoy, then promotes that product and earns a piece of the profit from each sale made that they referred. It is an attractive way for website owners, social media users, influencers, and other types of content creators to make money selling to their network of people. So really it is all about building a fantastic network and keeping them engaged with great content and good products. This is what I call “Profit Partners”.
